It’s a carnival of ghosts and witches with a few super heroes and princesses thrown in to counter the “Scary Effect!” Little trolls whisper secrets in the ears of baby Lady Bugs while black cats and pumpkins look on.

HalloweenIf you haven’t guessed yet, you are getting a peak at WCCC’s Halloween Carnival that takes place on the last Friday before Halloween every October. This year it falls on October 24 and goes from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The carnival is geared towards kids K – 6th grade and their families.

Admission will be one can of food. These donations will go to benefit Our Place food bank, which serves the West Central neighborhood, feeding many families, including the homeless.

Come in your Halloween costume – or not. We ask that there are no super gory depictions of violence or inappropriately provocative costumes. There will be mountains of candy, carnival games and a magic show.

There will also be a special, early distribution of Coats 4 Kids for families attending the carnival. The doors will be open during the event from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Be sure your child is with you. No coats will be given out if your child is not present to try on the coat. We do this because coats cannot be exchanged if they don’t fit. There are no “proof of” documents required.

We welcome any candy donations. On Halloween you can never have too much candy to ward off those tricksters with a yummy treat!

Our Halloween Carnival is sponsored by the West Spokane Kiwanis. WCCC thanks this generous community partner for their support.
